FAQ
Do you have a customer referral program?
Yes we do!. Any current Client's will receive referral cards that you can give to Family or Friends. The newly referred Client can bring this card to their first appointment with us to recieve 15% off! This also allows us to verify a 15% discount for the Referring (existing) Client's next Service.
Does Cosmetic Tattooing (PMU) hurt?
Our biggest goal is to make our Clients as comfortable as possible by using topical Anesthetic numbing creams/ gels. Keep in mind that everyone will have a different tolerance to pain. We find that with the application of numbing topicals our Clients, more often then not, feel very minimal discomfort, to no discomfort at all. In fact! its not uncommon to have people fall asleep during their session.
*TIP* Keep in mind that if you are menstruating, you will likely be more sensitive to any discomfort..
Is Cosmetic Tattooing the same as Traditional Tattooing?
Not completely, let me explain.....
Traditional Tattoos are done using much more concentrated pigments that contain much larger molecular makeup. They contain Additives that ensure colour stability and will ideally prevent fading. They are sure to provide much more opaque, vivid and saturated colour. Tattoo inks are implanted in the deeper layers of the Dermis (One of the main layers of our skin) Which is why tattoos remain permanent for most people.
Permanent Makeup is performed using PMU pigments, with a much smaller molecular makeup and are not as highly concentrated as traditional inks. These specifically geared pigments do not contain the same additives to keep the tone/ colour from fading and are implanted into the Upper Dermis.
Because of these difference is the reason why PMU is referred to as "semi- permanent" as our bodies are able to break down more of the smaller components of PMU pigments over time in comparisson to tattoo inks. On average, this allows for the pigments to fade over time, giving you the ability to make changes over time.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Absolutely. You can view all terms and conditions in our "Terms & Policies" page.
Here are a couple key terms:

-We do require at least 24 Hours notice of cancellation. If you cancel before this time your deposit will be refunded back to you in full.

-When you Book a session you are required to send a Deposit amount that will be specified at that time.
This deposit will be forfeited to Nocturna Cosmetic Tattooing if you fail to meet the Cancellation Terms or if you are a no show. This helps cover a small portion of the cost of chair rental, setup, product and fuel, due to the late cancelled appointment. This is none negotiable.
-If you are more then 10- 15 minutes late for your appointment we will be required to cancel your appointment and rebook for another time. Because we see Clients back to back we unfortunately do not have the ability to make up the time. In this case your Deposit will be forfeited to cover a portion of the cost of service. If you rebook you will be required to send a new Deposit amount.

-Your deposit amount payed, will be taken off the remaining cost balance of your service(s) once you have successfully completed your schedualed session.
